Journalist Maria Shriver interviewed legendary Las Vegas illusionists, Siegfried & Roy, who spoke out for the first time since Roy’s harrowing ordeal on stage with one of his tigers.
The one-hour special aired nearly a year after a tiger attack which left him partly paralyzed. In the exclusive interview, Roy Horn for the first time described his memories of the mauling. The show also followed Horn as he went though the painful rehabilitation.
Directed and Executive Produced by Jason Raff, when it first aired it was the most watched show of the night with 14.5 million viewers.
The Special drew a bigger crowd than the premiere of any new series on the fall lineup on any other network that season.
